Growing up in a household with Caribbean influences, one of the many snacks we had lying around would be a tasty loaf of banana bread. My mother would often have a slice with butter and my father liked his with some marmalade but I would often eat it plain or with a cheeky spoonful of Nutella! Banana bread is great to make when you have some browning, uneaten bananas left in your fruit bowl and makes a great snack to quickly pack for the day or in your kids lunch boxes!
